🗓️ Thursday, June 18th – The Kick-Off
The festivities kick off on Thursday evening at City Park from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Festival of Trails Kick Off features food by Heartland Community Church, fun games, and a Kiddie Parade. Kids can enjoy Bubble Mania by Absolute Science, complete with face painting and a balloon artist. During the Sacred Heart Church Pie Auction, enjoy acoustic classic rock by Dennis Weidman. Thursday also features the presentation of community awards: Business of the Year, the Jesse Wasson Winner, and Woman of the Year.
🎈 Friday, June 19th – Fun Across Town
On Friday, activities spread across town. After booth setups, starting at 4:00 PM, Main Street will host inflatables, DJ Hoov, and a beer tent running until 1:00 AM. Chestnut Street will feature chainsaw carvings. Head to the FFA Ag Museum for face painting and music by CR Express. The evening brings the Cutest Kids and Critters Parade starting at the High School at 7:00 PM, followed by live music on the Main Street Stage from Beau Timmerman and Flatland Ridge. The night concludes with spectacular fireworks at the Elementary school at 10:00 PM.
🏆 Saturday, June 20th – Action Packed
Saturday is packed with action, starting early with the Omelette Breakfast at the Golf Course and the Festies 5K at the High School Track. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy golf and baseball tournaments, browse vendors and crafters on the 200 block of Main Street, and watch more chainsaw carvings. The afternoon features fun and games on Main Street, a cornhole tournament behind the Utilities building, a tug-of-war competition, and the LPC Women’s Club Duck Derby. A highlight is the LPC Lions Car Show on Garbouch Street from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. As evening falls, the beer tent continues, and the Main Street Stage hosts performances by Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and The Pork Tornadoes.
