The Festival of Trails 2026 is more than just a summer event; it is the heartbeat of our community in La Porte City, Iowa. Every June, families from all over the Cedar Valley gather on Main Street for a weekend jam-packed with tradition and excitement.
We kick things off Thursday night with the community favorite Pie Auction and Bubble Mania. Friday brings the roar of the crowd with our Grand Parade and a spectacular fireworks display that lights up the sky. By Saturday, the energy is at an all-time high with the famous Omelette Breakfast at the Golf Course, the vibrant 5K Color Run, and the thrilling Duck Derby on the creek. Whether you are bidding at the Chainsaw Carving auction or enjoying the carnival rides, the Festival of Trails 2026 promises memories that last a lifetime.
