The best way to get involved is to come say hello in person. We are always looking for new members who want to serve our community.
🗓️ Meeting Schedule:
We hold our regular meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from September through April. In the summer (May through August), we switch to the 3rd Thursday of the month.
All meetings start at 6:00 PM and are typically held at the LPC Legion or the Golf Club. Please check our Events Calendar for the specific location this month.

Q: How do I sign up for the Flags program?
A: The easiest way is to subscribe online! Visit our Flags Over La Porte City product page to set up your annual subscription. We install flags for 5 holidays a year.
Q: Can I just volunteer without joining?
A: Absolutely! We always need extra hands, especially during the Festival of Trails parade and for our holiday bell-ringing shifts. Use the form above to Contact La Porte City Lions Club officers and let us know you’d like to help out.
Q: When are the meetings?
A: We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (Sept–Apr) and the 3rd Thursday (May–Aug). Social hour usually begins at 6:00 PM with a meal and meeting to follow. Check our Events Calendar for this month’s specific location.
Q: How much are dues?
A: Club dues are very reasonable and help cover the administrative costs of the club so that 100% of our fundraising profits can go to charity. Please use the contact form above to ask our Secretary for the current annual rate.
